Nigeria kidnapped girls appear in Boko Haram video
Mon, 12 May 2014 17:04:31 GMT - Borno NIGERIA
(Orginal Source BBC) - Islamic militants from Boko Haram have released a video which shows about 130 girls kidnapped from a school in Nigeria.

Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau said the girls would remain with the group until their conditions are agreed to which includes the release of all of the group’s members.

Nigeria Interior Minister Abba Moro rejected the deal calling the conditions ‘absurd’.

Boko Haram kidnapped over 200 female students from a primary school in Borno on April 14. The video shows approximately half the girls of the abducted girls. Some are reported to have been forcefully converted to Islam.

Boko Haram, which translates to “Western education is forbidden” have been clashing with the Nigerian government for more than 10 years.
